REAKSI PASAR TERHADAP PENGUMUMAN DIVIDEND INITIATION DAN DIVIDEND OMISSION

Abstrak

Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk mereview dari sumber, yaitu jurnal mengenai reaksi pasar terhadap dividend initiation dan dividend omission. Sumber jurnal adalah dari penelitian Subkhan dan Wardani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pasar tidak bereaksi terhadap pengumuman kebijakan dividend initiation, dan hasil lainnya adalah pasar berekasi megatif terhadap pengumuman kebijakan dividend omission dan memberikan average abnormal return negatif yang signifikan. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, akan dibandingkan dengan teori-teori dan penelitian sebelumnya.

Abstract

the objective of this article is to review the journal about market reacts to dividend initiations and dividen omissions. The research of the journal is from study’s Subkhan and Wardani. The results show that the market does not react to the announcement of dividend initiation policy. And another result is market reacts negatively to the announcement of dividend omission policy and give the average of negative and significant abnormal return.
